Jerry auctions her Jagger wedding dress
bridal wedding gown Jerry Hall is putting the wedding dress in which she married MickJagger 18 years ago under the hammer. The model is selling 71 items from her vast wardrobe to raise moneyfor a homeless charity and has said of the tight white lacecreation: "I hope someone else has more luck than I did." The dress, with its scalloped sweetheart neckline, is expected tobe the star lot. But Hall, whose marriage was annulled in 1999, said she did notfind it difficult to let go of the item, designed by Antony Price.Rolling Stone Sir Mick's lawyers declared that the Bali wedding wasnot legally binding. Hall said: "Yeah that did make it easier (to get rid of the dress).It being annulled made it a lot easier. "I'm hoping someone else will have more luck than I did. It feelsgreat. "My kids were not really keen on keeping the wedding dress. Theywill get their own. But there was a lot of discussion about theother clothes and some arguments." She added: "Georgia (16) wants me to buy back some of my clothes atthe auction for her. But I'm not going to buy back my old clothes,I'm not doing that." The wedding dress, which is expected to fetch between £300 and£500, comes with a photograph of the model and actress wearing thegarment and standing next to Sir Mick at the ceremony. Hall is alsoauctioning a Japanese silk wedding kimono given to her by Sir Mickas a wedding present. The sale is expected to raise more than £25,000 for the charitywhich provides communities for the homeless.
